Adult A Level - TAUGHT COURSE

A Levels are globally recognised qualifications that open doors to university and career progression. Our online A Levels are designed for motivated adult learners seeking flexible, high-level study that fits around their commitments. 

At Phoenix College, entry is based on ability rather than age. While traditional A Level courses correspond to Years 12 and 13 of the UK system, adults can join at any stage with the right academic foundation or professional experience. 

Most learners benefit from prior GCSEs or equivalent qualifications, typically with high grades in their chosen subjects. However, entry without formal prerequisites is possible for those with relevant knowledge or skills. 

Our A Level programmes deliver rigorous, structured learning, equipping adults with the expertise and credentials needed for university study or career advancement. 

At Phoenix College, we offer exceptional teaching supported by advanced digital tools to help adult learners achieve top A Level results. Each student is assigned a clear study schedule, with live, interactive classes and tutorials embedded into each term - led by subject specialists. All sessions are recorded to work around your schedule, commitments and chosen pacing. 

Our online platform (Microsoft Teams) provides access to lessons, learning materials, assignments, grades, and progress tracking—all in one place. If a session is missed due to other commitments, recorded lessons ensure no learning is lost.  

Adult learners will complete formal assessments at key stages: end-of-year assessments to support predicted university grades, and later on, timed mock exams. 

Ongoing 1:1 communication and support are available throughout the year, offering more consistent and personalised feedback than in a traditional school setting.
