NCFE Level 1 Functional Skills English – Online Course

This Level 1 Functional Skills English course is a flexible online qualification designed for learners who want to build essential reading, writing, and speaking skills. How It Works

Your learning takes place through an easy-to-use online platform where you’ll complete interactive assignments and submit work to your tutor for feedback. Learning includes grammar help, reading exercises, writing practice, and speaking and listening activities.

All live tutoring is provided via Microsoft Teams, where your tutor can support your progress and help you prepare for your final assessment. The official exam is booked by your tutor and taken remotely from home at a time that works for you.

Assessment

You’ll take three separate assessments: Reading, Writing, and Speaking & Listening. Each section is practical and based on real-world communication tasks. Mock exams are included, and Premium students receive a free resit if needed.
